Update: Multiple Scored Assessments

Two or more scored quizzes let learners hit clear milestones (“you’ve passed Part 1!”), choose how to score results and give you better insights into their progress, keeping everyone motivated and on track.

The scoring criteria determines how results are sent back to your LMS and helps designers choose how learner results are calculated based on their assessment performance.

Total score: Adds up the score from all assessment questions

Learners results is reflected across all assessment questions. This option is the default criteria.

Average: Averages the scores across all the assessments

Selecting this option provides an average score (%) across all the assessments completed which will determine the learners overall pass mark for this module. (A learner scores 50% and then 100%, the average is 75%)

Designers can choose this option to allow for an average across all the assessments.

First passed assessment: Uses the score from the first assessment the learner passes

This criteria is for only the score from the first successful attempt is used.

*Note: This is applicable to the assessment function only, not quiz type interactions.
